NSW: Carr flags restrictions to FOI requests
New South Wales Premier BOB CARR has flagged restrictions to Freedom Of Informationlaws to stem the flood of requests.
Mr CARR says the Opposition often makes FOI requests of government departments whodon't keep the requested information, pushing up the rate of non-compliance.
Mr CARR says New South Wales people have a pretty open government with hospital waitinglists published on the internet and crime figures collected and published independentof government.
