Contractor Susanne Tauke and decorator Mary Cook came to theChicago Parade of Homes with several missions.
The first was to work on a home together. They completed thatmission when they decided to participate in the Parade. Oneafternoon they just sat down and designed the Whitney, which Taukesaid will resound with the sounds of Whitney Houston at the Parade.Then they had an architect put the plans together.
